J & S’ wedding in the Cotswolds | Sudeley Castle

Sudeley Castle Wedding with couple strolling at the back of the castle

A romantic spring wedding at Sudeley Castle in the Cotswolds, with a wedding reception table by the ruins and a floral arch of dreams! Some weddings just stay with you, and J & S’s celebration at Sudeley Castle was one of those. Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, this wedding felt like a quiet fairy tale brought to life. Nothing was overdone, yet every detail felt just right. The ceremony took place in the castle’s orangery because of inclement weather. The original plan was to hold the ceremony by the garden terrace, enjoying the gentle summer breeze. We created a floral aisle that looked as though it had grown there naturally, with creamy roses, silvery greens, and delicate blush tones that danced in the sunlight. The overall ambiance was soft, ethereal, and perfectly suited to their style. After saying their vows, guests wandered into the orangery for cocktails and canapés. The atmosphere was relaxed but elegant. Think English countryside charm meets modern polish. Laughter flowed. So did the rosé. Dinner was hosted inside the castle’s ruins surrounded by ivy-covered stone walls, where the chandelier light flickered off historic walls and every table felt like its own little world. We kept the styling refined but personal: layered linens, textured chargers, and custom menus that nodded to their story. J and S wanted their wedding to feel natural, beautiful, and deeply personal, and that’s exactly what we created. A day full of quiet luxury, joyful energy, and memories that will last a lifetime.
