What does a wedding planner do?

Unlike venue coordinators who typically recommend some suppliers for you to reach out to, suggest a schedule and run your day from a venue perspective, design led wedding planners do anything and everything you can imagine, we are essentially your wedding PA. We carry out all of the time consuming, less exciting and more complex, essential jobs, so you don’t have to. We design your entire eventscape (not all wedding planners do!), manage your budget, invoices, and filing, support you with your guest list and guest accommodation, source suppliers, create schedules, organise logistics, supervise the set up, coordinate the day / weekend in full and manage all of your suppliers on the day, supervise the pack down.

Yes, we are happy to collaborate with your selected vendors, provided they meet our quality and service standards. We can also recommend trusted luxury vendors from our extensive network; based on previous experience working with them, we can guarantee a very high level of professionalism.

Do you provide concierge-style services for destination weddings in Italy?

Yes, our destination wedding planning services include concierge-level support, such as arranging private transportation, luxury accommodation for guests, bespoke tours, and pre- or post-wedding events.

Do you offer services for events other than weddings? What kind of events do you plan?

While our primary focus is weddings, we also plan exclusive engagements, anniversaries, birthday parties, other milestone celebrations, social events, and brand launches.

Can you help with post-wedding services, like thank-you notes or honeymoon planning?

Yes, we offer post-wedding services such as thank-you note coordination and luxury honeymoon planning to ensure a complete and unforgettable experience. These services will be quoted and charged separately.

How do I get started?

Simply contact us through our website’s inquiry form. Following our call, we will create a personalized proposal based on our conversation and the requirements of your event. After accepting the proposal, we will provide you with a contract for you to sign and pay a deposit. At this time we will also draft a budgeting and a planning calendar for your special event, we want you to be on top of all major decisions with a peaceful mind.

What does a wedding planner do?

Unlike venue coordinators, whose role is primarily to recommend a shortlist of suppliers, propose a basic schedule, and manage your day from the venue’s perspective, design-led wedding planners go far beyond. We take care of every detail—big or small, exciting or complex—ensuring the entire process is seamless and stress-free for you.

Our approach encompasses every aspect of your wedding. From designing a fully cohesive eventscape (a service not all planners offer) to managing your budget, invoices, and guest accommodations, we handle it all. We’ll source the perfect suppliers, create detailed schedules, organize logistics, and oversee everything from set-up to pack-down. On the day—or even across your entire wedding weekend—we coordinate all suppliers, ensuring every element is perfectly executed while you enjoy your celebration without a worry.

When should I start planning my wedding?

On average, couples plan their weddings between 1 and 2 years before their big day, most of our couples will have approximately a year to plan but we have planned weddings with 3 months notice!  The earlier you start planning the better, as this will mean a wider selection of suppliers. Our little black book of industry experts take on a limited number of clients, so we always have a great range of options for our couples when we are planning on a shorter lead time. If you have months to plan then you will need to be decisive, responsive and organised. If you have years to plan then expect to have waves of planning; some periods will be busy and then you will have some quiet times with nothing to action.

What is the typical budget of the clients you serve?

The budgets we work with for weddings and parties vary and depend on the size, location, duration, guest count, brief and also how much our client is happy to pay. Each of our events and clients are unique so during our first planning meeting we will discuss your ideas and allocate estimated costs to each supplier category to give us a budget to work to when gathering quotes and sourcing suppliers. Some of our clients have a budget that they wish not to exceed, some are more flexible and would like to see what spending a little more will get them and others are happy to pay what is costs to achieve the event brief we have designed, provided we are sensible with the costs. This is an important conversation to have at the start of the planning so we can support you and plan a celebration that works with your spending goals.

What services do wedding planners offer?

Wedding planners can offer a range of services, from full wedding planning, partial planning (sometimes called rescue planning), on the day coordination, and smaller add-on services. These can include a design service, ad hoc planning meetings, venue research etc. We dedicate ourselves to full design and planning services, as we invest in a select number of clients each year we only offer a full and thorough service.

How far in advance should I book your services?

We recommend booking as soon as you have a wedding date or a general timeframe. Many of our clients secure our services 12–18 months in advance to ensure availability and proper planning time. most of our couples will have approximately a year to plan but we have planned weddings with 3 months notice! Our team will be onsite from morning preparations to the end of the event. We coordinate with all vendors, oversee logistics, and handle any unexpected situations so you can enjoy a seamless and stress-free wedding day. In the case of destination weddings, we get to the location days in advance to prepare for your multi-day event.
